Monetary Donations
The Virden Pioneer Home Museum is a non-profit organization with charitable status. Any funds the museum receives go directly into maintenance and operation of the museum. Donations can be made to the museum in a number of different ways. All monetary donations made will have a charitable receipts issued for income tax purposes.
General Donations

Please make all cheques payable to the Virden Pioneer Home Museum and advise if the donation is a general donation.
Donations can also be made by E-transfer and can be sent to our email: virdenpioneermuseum@gmail.com. For "Charitable Tax Receipts" please include your full name, complete mailing address, and telephone number in the "message space".

Estate and Planned Gifts
Estate and planned gifts can be donated to the Virden Pioneer Home Museum. Planned gifts can are flexible and simply ways to combine philanthropy with financial planning. These can be in the form of bequests, stocks, securities, gifts-in-kind, and any special gifts that might interest the Donor.
In Memorial
A donation can be made in memory of a relative or friend. To make a memorial donation to the museum, please provide the following information with the donation:

Who the donation is in memory of

The name and address of who would be receiving the acknowledgement

The name and address of who will be receiving the tax receipt
Donor's Choice Canvass
Watch for the spring door-to-door canvassers or newspaper advertisement for dates. Receipts are issued by the Donor's Choice organization to the individual donors for their total donation to any of the organizations of their choice that are listed on the sheet.
Memberships
An annual membership to the Virden Pioneer Home Museum allows the donor unlimited visits for the year plus a 10% discount on all retail merchandise with the presentation of the yearly membership card.
